A Dispatchable Droop Control Method for PV Systems in DC Microgrids

Along with the sustained growth of photovoltaic (PV) penetration, PV generation is expected to be more active in DC microgrids rather than maximum power generation. The droop control methods are generally adopted achieve regulation at steady-state and passive power-sharing transient state. However, traditional $V-I$ based can not realize voltage dispatch orders require mode switching prevent overload problem which increases complexity deteriorate performance. To address this issue, paper proposes a novel dispatchable method. proposed method utilizes two-layer hierarchical structure. primary layer notation="LaTeX">$V-dp/dv$ smaller time scale. secondary realizes or on larger Moreover, notation="LaTeX">$dp/dv$ as variable, seamless has ability roughly indicate margin PVs, critical for dispatching PVs.
